How we rank, and what we disclose

Organic listings are alphabetical by name. That is the whole ranking. We do not score tools, we do not collect star ratings, and we do not move a listing because we like the company. Alphabetical order can put a name we own near the top of a short category. That is the alphabet, and the badge is there so you can see it.

Sponsored slots sit above a list and say Sponsored. They are not mixed into the A–Z order. The rate card is $149 for a homepage feature (30 days, one of three), $79 for a category top spot (30 days), $99 for a newsletter mention (one week), and $49 for a faster review. The faster review does not promise a kinder write-up or a better position. None of those slots are filled on this version of the site.

A tool gets a page after two checks. The URL has to load, and we have to be able to say what the vendor page itself says about a free tier. If the URL does not load, the tool stays off the list. If the page loads and does not state a free plan, we mark the free tier as not stated or as a trial, and we still list the tool. We do not fill in a price from memory.

Every listing carries the date we checked it. This seed set was checked on 2026-10-14. The vendor pages we opened are linked at the bottom of each tool page.

Our products

InboxGuards, OrionCmd, and Dragons Eye are marked Made by us. The publisher of this site is DME Computer Services, Omaha. InboxGuards says it is owned by Orion CMD LLC in Omaha. Competitors stay on the site. InboxGuards is an account-takeover alarm, not a DMARC product, and the DMARC tools are still listed and linked.

We do not invent reviews, user counts, or uptime numbers. If a vendor page shows a sample dashboard and says the numbers are invented, we do not repeat those numbers as facts. OrionCmd's homepage does that, and the listing says so.

What a bot may add

New tools go in data/listings.json. The same fields are required: name, URL, a summary in our words, categories, pricing model, the free-tier note with the date, who it is for, pros and cons grounded in the page, alternatives that already exist in the file, and the ownership line. A new listing is not sponsored unless someone has paid for a slot, and the sponsored flag has to be true only then.
