The free check is the snapshot. This is the PDF of a live lookup for one domain, with the records we read and the steps for each unfinished MX, SPF, DKIM, or DMARC row.

How delivery works
Turn on license keys for the $9 product and set the activation limit to the number of downloads a buyer may have. The check page sends the domain as checkout[custom][domain]. Lemon Squeezy can insert the license key into the confirmation button. It cannot insert that custom field.
Set the button link to https://mailsecuritytools.com/report/?domain=THEIRDOMAIN&key=[license_key]. The download route calls the public license API, checks the key belongs to REPORT_PRODUCT_ID, and uses one activation. A request with no key is refused. The free check at /check stays free.
Publishing the records for you is a different offer. DMARC setup. The free on-screen check stays at /check.
Questions
What the $9 PDF is, and what it does not do.
- What is in the $9 report?
- A PDF of one live DNS lookup: MX, SPF, DMARC, and the DKIM selectors google, selector1, selector2, default, and k1. Each row includes the records we read and numbered steps for what to change. Passing rows say what to leave alone.
- Is this the same as the free check?
- The free check shows the result on the page and then discards it. This PDF is the longer fix list, and it is built from a new lookup at the moment you download it. A record can change between the two.
- Do you keep the PDF or the domain?
- No. The file is generated for that download and not written to a database. The license key is checked with Lemon Squeezy and not stored here. Each download uses one activation, up to the limit set on the product.
- What does the $9 not include?
- It does not change your DNS, read DMARC aggregate reports, or watch the domain tomorrow. InboxGuards, linked in the PDF, is mailbox monitoring for Google Workspace and Microsoft 365. Publishing the records for you is the separate DMARC setup service.
- Who takes the payment?
- Lemon Squeezy, for the store DME Computer Services. Not Stripe. If the button says Coming soon, checkout is not connected and nothing is charged.
